There are many that believe abortion should be allowed in the case of rape, including some of those who label themselves as pro-lifers. In the following article Juda Myers defends those conceived by rape. Please visit her site at CHOICES4LIFE.
Myth:
A woman couldn't possibly want to give birth to a rapist's baby.
Isn't that child hers too? What are you telling her about HER baby? Is her child garbage? Is her child different from other humans made in the image of God? Did God somehow NOT make this child?
Myth:
The gene pool of a rapist will continue the criminal line.
In the history of the world there have been enough rape conceived persons born that possibly nearly all people will have a rapist in their heritage. Should we kill all humans since the time of that first rape pregnancy? Rapist run free but innocent babies are killed. Where is the justice in that?
Myth:
We need to have that exception for abortion to allow other babies to be saved.
55 million babies have died since Roe v Wade. The exception for rape was implemented for legal abortion yet only 1% of these 55 million are rape/incest abortions. The exception has opened the door so that all abortions can be legal. If rape/incest abortions were made illegal then ALL legal abortions would cease.
Myth:
Rape conception is rare.
The only rare thing about rape conception is that they rarely speak up. I have found that there are far more rape conceptions than people will admit because of society's shame put on them. So many women and children come to me after I've spoken publicly and tell me they too are in that category but have NEVER told anyone.
Myth:
Abortion is the best thing for women who are pregnant from rape.
Women don't deserve to be mothers of a dead baby after being traumatized with rape. Abortion traumatizes a woman in the exact area she was traumatized in rape. Women do not regret giving life but they do regret killing their innocent baby. One woman told me that she was not able to have any other children except her aborted rape baby. Regret is the only thing she was left with. Do women deserve that? Listen to them and rethink the ongoing rhetoric and justification of rape abortion.
Myth:
The woman couldn't possibly stand to have a child that looks like the rapist. It would remind her of the rape everyday.
Women are able to distinguish an innocent baby from a rapist. If a husband brutally raped his wife could she kill the 3 year old in the morning that looks exactly like his father? Of course not. One woman, Misty Ramshur, told me that she could not see the rapist when she looked at her biracial baby. She saw herself. Another woman described her daughter this way, " My beautiful daughter looks just like her father" How can this be. Women are smarter and stronger than society gives them credit. Liz Carl shares that comment each time she speaks publicly on having a biracial baby from rape. She loves her child and was a hero placing him into the arms of a couple who wanted a family. She sees the gift of God and is reminded that God can make great things out of our pain. She can also be a hero and place the child for adoption and never have to see the child.
Myth:
It's not a baby but just tissue.
Aren't we all "just tissue"? Our DNA begins at conception. Persons conceived in rape are no different.
We don't have fetus parties do we? But even people who say it's just tissue celebrate at a baby shower if that baby is "wanted."
Myth:
Only babies that are wanted should come into the world.
Babies ARE wanted. There are plenty of families wanting babies that can't find any child to adopt. 55 million could have found a home that wanted them. Pauline is a mother of a teen who was conceived in rape. Her son is disabled in almost every since of the word. Is that child wanted? Absolutely and even by a man that is NOT his father. Pauline's husband and 5 other children love this son conceived in rape. "He is the joy of our lives" says his "daddy".
Who are we to say who is wanted and not wanted? Have you ever met someone who didn't want you around? Should you be killed because someone doesn't want you?
My Daddy was a WWII Marine veteran that stood next to the men at Iwo Jima who raised that famous flag. Did he deserve to have a family? Did he think he somehow had gotten a defective "product"? Did my parents see me as less human than other babies? Absolutely NOT. My dad thanked my birth mother for giving him such a precious gift.
Myth:
We as Americans are tolerant and an equal opportunity country - fair and just.
550, 000 children have been destroyed solely on the basis of the crime their father committed. Prejudice is deemed as evil but the greatest injustice remains. Innocent babies are treated like garbage and thrown away being called "products" of rape. Using that term in itself is prejudice. NO one else is called a product of a loving marriage or a wild night or the back seat of a car. To call someone a product suggests that the "product" is disposable. Language has changed over the years in America to be sensitive to certain people groups yet we still call persons of rape conception "products". We are NOT products!
What we say:
Women shouldn't be forced to abort.
What we mean:
The morning after pill is given to women right after they are raped to eliminate that human ever having a chance at life. We do force women to abort in cases of rape even with the soft persuasion of compassion. Not forcing a mother of rape or fetal abnormalities to see her child pushes them to think they are less human than others. Insulting the child forces a woman to make a choice that is NOT in her heart. She is pressured by society and family to kill her baby.My own mother was pushed to end my life by her mother but she fought for my life. Only with the help of someone who was 100% pro life was I able to live.
Young girls are forced to abort so that the incestuous perpetrator cannot be prosecuted. Evidence is destroyed leaving the girl vulnerable to continued attacks. Where is the justice in this?
Myth:
Being pregnant from rape will ruin a woman's life.
Many women have been given new life after discovering they are pregnant. Lianna conceived at 12 and gave birth at 13. She said that she got a new life with the life of her baby. While she was suicidal about the rape the pregnancy and the hope of a new life literally gave her hope for her own future. Women have been suicidal after aborting rape babies. Abortion of rape babies has ruined lives but giving birth to them has not.
What is said
Lots of talk about what is best for women in cases of rape.
Truth:
No one is asking the women or children of rape conception what they feel and want. Out of sight out of mind and the false opinions continue. Even in the case of rape/incest abortion harms women and may even result in sterility and/or suicide.
What is said:
I'm 100% pro life but I think a woman should have the choice in case of rape.
Truth:
100% is 100%. There is no exception. 99% leaves room for 1% in cases of rape/incest that is a pro choice for abortion and no different than a pro choice person choosing which child should die. Choice for death in pregnancy is still pro choice for death.
"We must save some even if we have to have exceptions" We do not have to have exceptions and it is proven that giving the exception has not ended abortion. When will we stop allowing all babies to be killed by propping the abortion door open with the rape child. Thirty eight years of doing it that way and abortions continue increasing.
Now is the time to follow the good shepherd's example. Leave the 99 and save the 1. Then all will be safe.
God is the author of all life without exceptions. And what God has joined let no man put asunder? Has God not joined the fibers of a baby? You knit me in my mother's womb David says. Shall we tear it apart? God says that children are a blessing. Shall we turn this gift away because we don't like how it was "delivered?" The greatest gift God could give humans is the gift of life. What does He feel when we throw it literally in the garbage? How would you feel if you gave a gift to someone and they did that? Imagine what God is feeling.
Everyone loves a victorious story. Giving life and watching that life live and give life again is spectacular. But death is never a joy.
Now is the time for women and children of rape conception to be heard. Will you listen??

Interesting words, tough subject.
God bless you Juda, for being a voice for the voiceless.
As with all abortion, no regard is placed for the preborn child. Whereas it's suppose to be all about the "woman's choice", when it comes to rape, it seems to be about the "rapists choice" to eliminate the evidence and allow the crime to continue. These babies are not guilty of anything, and yet proaborts want to give them the death penalty? So much for being pro woman. Let all the rapists, pedophiles, human traffickers go free...they only care about promoting abortion, forget about justice. So sad....
Having known someone who conceived during a rape, I can tell you that she struggled with the idea of giving birth to the child. It would always be a reminder of that terrible night. After the child was born, she looked at him and realized how beautiful and innocent he was, just like any other child that God made. She decided to give up her baby boy to another family who wanted him and would allow her an open adoption in case she wanted to keep in contact. So she did. Every once in a while she does make contact with the adoptive parents. She knows she made the right decision and has never regretted what she did.
