Dr. Richard Grossman, a Planned Parenthood abortionist in Durango, Colorado, also has full medical privileges at Mercy Regional Medical Center in Durango. Mercy is a Catholic hospital, but the Diocese of Pueblo said that they commissioned a canonical investigation into Grossman’s position at Mercy and found that the hospital was in “full compliance” with the U.S. Bishops’ medical directives, known as the ‘Ethical and Religious Directives for Catholic Health Services’ (ERDs).
What is even more amazing is that Grossman, who is a Quaker, says, “The reason I perform abortions is because I’m a Christian. Personally, I believe in the strength, intellect and fortitude of women. When a woman says a fetus is a person, I think it is one. I believe the woman empowers the fetus.”
Dr. Grossman has delivered hundreds of babies in his 44 years at the hospital, but then he goes to Planned Parenthood once a week to kill babies. He is the only abortionist within 200 miles of Durango. Those attempting to remove him from the hospital have scheduled a protest on August 4th with Lila Rose of Live Action.
