Planned Parenthood's president Cecile Richards commented on the bill the governor signed:
“It’s outrageous that Governor Mitch Daniels has signed a dangerous bill that would have a devastating impact on women’s health and take away health care from thousands of women in Indiana, leaving them at greater risk for undetected cancers, untreated infections and unintended pregnancies."
Here is the truth:
released phone calls to Planned Parenthoods in Indiana that show clinics admitting that they are not the only source of health care for women on Medicaid. They previously claimed that poor women wouldn't be able to receive important health care services if they could not go to Planned Parenthood because of a bill passed that would eliminate Medicaid funds to them.
