MoveOn.org Ad - Keep Millions Flowing To Planned Parenthood For Abortions That Are Not Used For Abortions

Planned Parenthood has always claimed that Title X funding from the government has never been used for abortion. The following is from their website:

While this system allows for maximum flexibility in the administration of the program, Title X also sets a minimum standard of care for those individuals who want reproductive health care. The law’s provisions include requirements that:

• people be given a choice of contraceptive methods (including periodic abstinence and fertility awareness methods)
• no one is coerced into accepting a particular method or any method at all
• services are provided in the context of related reproductive health care
• recipients are charged fees based on their income and ability to pay
• no Title X funds are used to pay for abortions (P.L. 91–572, 1970)....

By law, no Title X funds have ever been spent on abortion (their emphasis) (Sollom et al., 1996). The family planning regulations require that women who face unintended pregnancies be given nondirective counseling on all of their legal and medical options (Federal Register, 2000).

The following video is of Planned Parenthood's President Cecile Richards pleading for help to keep their 363 million dollars a year from the taxpayers.  The second video is a television ad from MoveOn.org that contradicts everything Planned Parenthood claims.  It explicitly states that Planned Parenthood will lose money for abortions and women will have to go to back alleys.  THEY ARE DESPARATE!  So what is the truth Planned Parenthood?
