87,273 New York City Unborn Babies Killed: City Councillor - "I Don't Think Those Numbers Are Meaningful"

In a recent NRLC article the following statistics are presented concerning abortion in New York City in 2009.

There were 225,667 pregnancies in New York City of which 87,273 were aborted.
African-American women had 40,798 abortions. African-American abortions out-number live births by three to two.
Hispanic women:  28,364 abortions.
Non-Hispanic white women:  9,853 abortions.
Asian women:  5,212.

The NRLC article also states these unbelievable responses:

According to New York Post columnist John Wilson, of the 51 City Council members, only five were willing to call that abortion rate "too high." ...

"I don't think those numbers are meaningful," said Upper East Side Councilwoman Jessica Lappin. "I don't tell people whether they should have two kids, four kids or 10 kids." One council aide even fretted that a lower abortion rate would bankrupt the city.

ARE THESE COUNCILLORS CRAZY?

I wonder what the remains of 87,273 unborn babies looks like. I would like those 46 council members to watch an actual abortion and reassemble the babies body parts and tell me if that rate is still too high! May God forgive them!
