Liberals And The Non-Defense Of The Unborn

What have liberals defended since Roe v Wade 37 years ago?

Liberals have been the champions of human rights, especially for terrorists, prisoners, and minorities, including illegal aliens. They decry anything that is remotely related to the torture of terrorists.  Have they ever realized that abortion is the worst form of torture there is?  Some unborn babies have their limbs pulled off, are burned in an abortion, or are sucked through a tube.  Death is almost always the result of this torture. 


Liberals believe there are many people incarcerated who are innocent.  Rarely is this the case, but they often criticize the entire judicial system because of a very few examples.  Why don't they protect the unborn because they are ALL innocent?  Since they often want to paint the judicial system with a broad brush because of an isolated incident, then at least defend the entire unborn population because there might be another liberal like Barack Obama or Ted Kennedy that could be born. 
Rightfully, the liberals defend minorities such as the African-American population.  But abortion has killed more blacks than the other seven leading causes of death combined. 
Also, why don't they protect the innocent legal unborn babies instead of people who have committed a crime by being here illegally?

Today the liberals believe that government-controlled health care is the cure-all to everything that ails Americans.  Liberalism's mantra concerning abortion is that "It is my body and nobody can tell me what I can do with it." Whey do they support government health reform that will basically tell you what you can and can't do with your body?  The government will tell these same women what treatments or medications it deems necessary depending on their age, condition, and how much it costs. 

Liberalism is often based on emotion instead of logic.  Why do liberals then support abortion when seeing a baby in a ultrasound or watching it being born are such emotional events for both the mother and father?  Why do organizations such as Planned Parenthood that promote choice do not give the mother and father the exciting opportunity to see the unborn in an ultrasound? Why don't they show images of aborted babies so the couple can make an informed choice based on the emotional impact of those images?

Obviously, liberals are hypocrites when they espouse their defense for abortion.  So what is really behind the reason for supporting abortion?  The predominate answer is money.  On April 27, 2009, The American Spectator revealed the following:

No, it's not Dick Cheney and the CIA. It's Planned Parenthood. The abortion giant took home $85 million in "excess of revenue over expenses" (a nifty way of saying profits) and had an operating budget of over $1 billion for the 2007-2008 fiscal year, according to its latest annual report. Included in that budget was $350 million in "government grants and contracts" (an equally nifty way of saying your tax dollars). An increase in the number of abortions performed helped fuel the profits.

Pro-abortion citizens and groups must perpetuate the lies about the unborn and what really happens in an abortion just to keep the money rolling in.  But are many of the women who have abortions also doing it for greed, but just not as blatantly?  Often they believe liberalism's lies that the unborn is not human, just a blob, or whatever, but money is often the reason for the abortion. Studies have shown that approximately 75% of all abortions are done on women who think that if they have the baby it will interfere with work or school or they just can't afford it.  Interfering with work or school basically means that they will get less money now because they will take time off from work or they will have to delay their education and its financial gain.   It seems that the money issue for those providing and those receiving an abortion is the overwheliming reason that abortions continue at such a high rate.  Approximately 50 million totally innocent lives have been destroyed since 1973 predominately because of greed disguised as some other reason.
